Maryland/Pennsylvania experimental death-noise band FULL OF HELL have embarked on quite the journey leading up to the impending release of their latest full-length album “Trumpeting Ecstasy”, an album which will see the band deliver their most punishing, virulent, and dynamic album to date.
The embryonic beginnings of Full of Hell displayed their palette at it’s most primitive, d-beat and blast ridden hardcore punk with spats of noise and caustic rhythm, and within a few short years, they have bloomed into a true force to be reckoned with within the punk and metal communities. Since the release of their Profound Lore Records debut album “Full Of Hell & Merzbow” late 2014, their third full-length album, the band began to truly come into their own, combining elements of grindcore, death/black metal, punk and hardcore with a smattering of sonically laden power electronics and industrial pounding. It would also signal the band being at their most active and prolific ever since their inception in 2009.
The band would tour endlessly non-stop in different parts of the world in places as far off as Japan, Australia (twice), Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea etc.), along with several tour runs in Europe and many tour jaunts within the US, along with playing countless festivals and exclusive shows. The band would also add to their repertoire and discography as well during said timeframe releasing a direct collaboration album with The Body and several EPs, one of them being their most-recent split 7”EP with Nails (which debuts #2 on the Billboard Top 100 Singles Chart).
With “Trumpeting Ecstasy”, FULL OF HELL build upon their progression since the Merzbow collaboration and the releases succeeding it. This time the band decided to go into God City Studios with Kurt Ballou at the production helm to help achieve the intended vision of “Trumpeting Ecstasy”. The result being the best and strongest sounding FULL OF HELL album along with it being their most towering release to date. Sky tearing and sonically cataclysmic, the aural deluge that is “Trumpeting Ecstasy” also features guest appearances by Aaron Turner (Sumac/Old Man Gloom/Mamiffer/Isis), Nate Newton (Converge/Old Man Gloom), Andrew Nolan (Column Of Heaven/The Endless Blockade), and Canadian singer/songwriter Nicole Dollanganger. Though the title of their latest recorded release may indicate otherwise, “Ataraxia” (out March 21) or the state of tranquillity and calm– it positively lives up to the promise of their incendiary live show. “Ataraxia” describes the album’s existential and personal state upon completion– a long and arduous path that nearly broke the band in the process. Built across two studios over the course of close to a year, “Ataraxia” is an album that represents the exploration, the emotional toll and ultimately the ecstasy of creation. It’s a release that challenged the band to move into new realms and push themselves to the brink– musically, emotionally, creatively and spiritually.
THE INFINITY RING is a collective united under the banner of experimentalism. The band draws from musicians long active in disparate scenes within the Boston musical underground, incorporating influences that range from metal to crust punk to industrial to electronic scenes. Their music is inspired by the liberty found in acts like Leonard Cohen, This Mortal Coil, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Can, Amon Düül, Faust, Current 93, etc. What began in 2020 as an experimental take on dark folk music with added elements of drone and noise eventually grew to incorporate no wave, post-metal, and black metal, with elements of occult and spiritualism throughout– adhering to none but reminiscent of all.
The band spent most of 2020 and 2021 experimenting in various studios around New England, eventually leading to the collaborative Ohr LP with Jarboe. In early 2022, the band set out to record its debut album, “Nemesis & Nativity”, at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts. Released by Profound Lore in 2023, the record was a revelation throughout the underground, leading to collaborative gigs with Marisa Nadler, appearances at SXSW, Roadburn and Desertfest NYC. 2025 will see the release of “Ataraxia”, the first LP in a series of new material due this calendar year.

Description:
MEFITIS is a dark metal endeavor dedicated to venturing the shadowy depths and desolate expanses of musical expression. Formed by Pendath and Vatha in 2007, Mefitis would from day one embody a metallic maelstrom intruding on the defined boundaries of extreme music. After some fallow years, the duo emerged to realize their dark metal vision with the 2019 full length Emberdawn. This record put forth their signature style of boundless songwriting across black and death metal, telling parables of degradation and savagery in both lyrics and the very music itself. The kindling now sparked, Mefitis returned in 2021 with their follow up in Offscourings. Here they would expand further on the possibilities of dark metal, exploring gloomier climes and thornier guitar arrangements. In addition, the band solidified a conceptual framework for the music to occupy, known as Skoria. In this parallel world out of time, the music, themes, and imagery could exist as ideas unto themselves rather than mere simulacra.
And so, Mefitis brings you their newest work: a duology in grey titled The Skorian // The Greyleer. Initially conceived as an experiment for analog tape, the new record is informed by the constraints and particular character of that medium. Every piece of sound you will hear was initially tracked to tape and then digitized and mixed by Mefitis. The dual title is indicative of the two halves, which were recorded in separate time spans and studio locations. However, The Skorian and The Greyleer are reflections of each other, and can be appreciated both in parts and in whole. Where past works looked outward to an ashen world, this new release contemplates its own crumbling edifice. It calls into question the very notion of one’s ‘self’ as an entity in thrall to its master. Witness now this loathing gallery, and join the grey.

MEFITIS is a dark metal endeavor dedicated to venturing the shadowy depths and desolate expanses of musical expression. Formed by Pendath and Vatha in 2007, Mefitis would from day one embody a metallic maelstrom intruding on the defined boundaries of extreme music. After some fallow years, the duo emerged to realize their dark metal vision with the 2019 full length Emberdawn. This record put forth their signature style of boundless songwriting across black and death metal, telling parables of degradation and savagery in both lyrics and the very music itself. The kindling now sparked, Mefitis returned in 2021 with their follow up in Offscourings. Here they would expand further on the possibilities of dark metal, exploring gloomier climes and thornier guitar arrangements. In addition, the band solidified a conceptual framework for the music to occupy, known as Skoria. In this parallel world out of time, the music, themes, and imagery could exist as ideas unto themselves rather than mere simulacra.
And so, Mefitis brings you their newest work: a duology in grey titled The Skorian // The Greyleer. Initially conceived as an experiment for analog tape, the new record is informed by the constraints and particular character of that medium. Every piece of sound you will hear was initially tracked to tape and then digitized and mixed by Mefitis. The dual title is indicative of the two halves, which were recorded in separate time spans and studio locations. However, The Skorian and The Greyleer are reflections of each other, and can be appreciated both in parts and in whole. Where past works looked outward to an ashen world, this new release contemplates its own crumbling edifice. This album was completed and released in 2019 under the name of “At the Threshold of the Greatest Chasm”, which comprehended six-and-a-half tracks taken from the unreleased Oaken/ Throne album. Resurrected from the ashes of one of the most influential death metal bands of all time, Nocturnus, NOCTURNUS AD was initiated by Nocturnus founder/mastermind/death metal legend Mike Browning (also co-founder of Morbid Angel) to continue the path that was laid down, 28 years later, by the legendary Florida death metal band's seminal 1990 album "The Key". An album recognized as one of the most important death metal albums of all time.
Entitled "Paradox", the debut NOCTURNUS AD full-length album is the direct and proper follow-up to "The Key", musically and thematically where the story and themes vocalist/drummer Browning laid out with "The Key" continue with "Paradox" through the lens of the occult. The story follows the journey of Dr. Allen William Magus (aka Dr. Magus), a scientist who got ravaged by a war plague disease and kept what was left of himself alive by creating a bio suit, from the aftermath of the events that went down in “The Key”.
On a musical plane, "Paradox's" otherworldly, technical dark atmospheric occult death metal blueprint harnesses and carries on the energy of "The Key" and the overall cult death metal vibe of the early '90s in the singular forward-thinking way that Nocturnus exhibited. Musically overwhelming and pretty much a sonic attack on the senses from every angle, "Paradox" is sci-fi death metal reclaiming its throne back to its originators. With Browning (technically returning to Nocturnus lore since 1992) commanding the craft alongside a lineup (that also forms his other band, After Death) that continues the Nocturnus legacy through guitarists Demian Heftel and Belial Koblack, bassist Daniel Tucker (ex-Obituary), and keyboardist Josh Holdren. With the blazing and fervent guitar work of Heftel and Koblack and with the carefully orchestrated keyboard sounds being the most developed out of any Nocturnus-related release, this integral component helps solidify the calculated pummeling rhythm section in resurrecting the classic sound of "The Key". And of course Browning's distinct vocals spewing the incantations containing the classic Browning vocal traits as reflected on "The Key" and of course Morbid Angel's classic "Abominations Of Desolation", with Browning of course being the co-writer of some of those classic and signature Morbid Angel anthems of old.
Overall, "Paradox" will see NOCTURNUS AD reclaim and continue to properly carry the torch of the legacy Nocturnus' laid down with "The Key", "Paradox" being the ceremonial illuminating Nocturnus-related release that has finally befallen the mortal coil after 28 years.

ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE have solidified support within the underground and after a highly successful touring cycle in support of their previous LP “Purifying Blade”, the band will focus on the live assaults in co-ordinance with “Vengeance Of Eternal Fire”. Following many sold out shows in the US and Europe, including multiple runs in the US on their own with multiple fest appearances (MDF, Psycho Las Vegas, NWTF, Mass Destruction, Destroying Texas to name some), several dates as direct support to Emperor, and US tour runs with bands such bands as Demilich and Miasmatic Necrosis.
